Bombing in Damascus
(ANSAmed) - BEIRUT - At least 7 were killed and 20 injured in a blast this morning in Damascus's Al Midan area, according to state-run news agency SANA. State TV claims that it was a suicide attack. SANA noted that the explosion occurred near the Zein Al-Abidin mosque and the Aisha school, and that among the victims were ''civilians and policemen''. The agency said that of only a few ''remains'' were found of two of the casualties. (ANSAmed).
