Spain-Morocco: Literature Week at Rabat Cervantes Institute

(ANSAmed) - MADRID - Spanish and Arabic-language writers are coming together from until Friday May 11, as part of the Rabat Literature Week, which for the first time is being organised by the Cervantes Institute, for the promotion of Spanish language and culture in Arab and African countries.

Spanish authors and those from Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and Costa Rica will meet Moroccan writers including Abdellatif Laabi and Mohamed Bennis, as well as the greatest living Arab poet, the Syrian-Lebanese author Adonis. The event will feature discussions and debates on central themes including "writers and citizens", "writers and readers" and "represented writers". (ANSAmed).
