(ANSAmed) - PODGORICA, APRIL 3 - A twinning agreement between
the town of Gaeta and Cetinje in Montenegro has been signed by
Mayors Antonio Raimondi and Aleksandar Bogdanovic.
In a ceremony held in Cetinje, attended by the Italian
Ambassador to Montenegro, Sergio Barbanti, it was agreed to
start collaboration between the two towns in economy, tourism
and culture.
Gaeta has a special significance for the small Balkan country
as it was here that one thousand Montenegrin soldiers sought
refuge in 1919 following the annexation of Montenegro by Serbia
at the end of the First World War.(ANSAmed).
