Trade: Turkish exports up 20.3% in May, says TurkStat

(ANSAmed) - ANKARA, JUNE 29 - Turkish exports were up by 20.3% to 13.1 billion U.S. dollars in May 2012 compared to the same month of 2011 as Anatolia news agency reports. Turkish statistical institute, TurkStat, released on Friday temporary foreign trade figures for May 2012. Accordingly, the country's imports rose by 3.1% to 21.7 billion U.S. dollars in the mentioned month. Foreign trade deficit decreased by 15.5% to 8.5 billion U.S. dollars in May. (ANSAmed).
