(ANSAmed) - BEIRUT, FEBRUARY 28 - Six days on from the
killing of the American journalist Marie Colvin and the French
photographer Rémi Ochlik in Homs, their French and British
colleagues, who were injured in the same artillery attack by
government forces, remain in the besieged area of Bab Amro.
Meanwhile, anti-regime activists have accused the Red Crescent
of handing over some of the injured Syrian civilians evacuated
in the last few days to the Damascus authorities. "We will not
leave Bab Amro unless it is with the Red Cross, we don't trust
the Red Crescent," said a spokesperson for the Activists News
Association (ANA), one of the opposition platforms operating in
Homs and other focal points of the uprising. The ANA network
says that "three of the injured people evacuated by the Red
Crescent last Friday were arrested a short time later". The
group also criticised the action of the Red Cross. "They are not
putting enough pressure on the Syrian regime to speed up the
evacuation of the injured in Homs," said a statement on the ANA
