(ANSAmed) - Madrid, July 20 - Portugal's economic activity
and consumption fell by 2.1% in June compared to June 2011,
according to information released Friday by the Bank of
Portugal.
The number represents the least negative result in grim news over the last six months. The 3.1% contraction in the economy and consumption registered in February, was the worst since the survey began in 1978. (ANSAmed).
