ECB: More risks for recovery, unemployment worsens

Eurozone growth weak, potential deterioration of markets

14 June, 10:42

(ANSAmed) - ROME, JUNE 14 - Economic growth in the eurozone "remains weak" and is subject to "greater risks of dropping, particularly with the "further heightening of tensions on various financial markets". This is according to the European Central Bank, which claims in its June report that the employment market and its prospects have deteriorated "further".

The ECB's executive council "will closely observe future movements and will ensure the stability of prices in the medium term in the eurozone, intervening in firm and timely fashion". (ANSAmed).
