(ANSAmed) - PRISTINA/BELGRADE, JUNE 13 - The current mandate
of the head of EULEX, Frenchman Xavier Bout de Marnhac, was to
have expired on June 15 but will now be extended until mid
November, as reported today by Kosovar and Serbian media.
Quoting Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, the media added that the decision had been taken by Brussels in order to guarantee continuity until the nomination of a new head of the European mission in Kosovo.
