Clinton will visit Egypt on July 14 and Israel on July 16-17, a
State Department communiqué said.
Clinton is traveling to Egypt to express US support of the process of transition to democracy underway there, and to ''ensure that the US will make its contribution in favor of Egypt's development,'' the communiqué said.
This is the first meeting between US and Egyptian leaders since the recent election of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi.
