Most of the works on view have been exhibited in April in Florence at the International Graphic Arts School Il Bisonte, Italy's most prestigious and historic school for the art of engraving. A show of Italian and international engravers who collaborated in various capacities with Il Bisonte over the years, ran concurrently at the Technohoros Gallery in Athens.
Artists included Henry Moore, Renato Guttuso, Sebastian Matta, Carlo Carrà, Gino Severini, Leonardo Cremonini, and Emilio Greco, among others. Greek Ambassador Michael Cambanis will be present at the Rome opening of the show, which will be on view through July 20.
