(ANSAmed) - NEW YORK, MAY 17 - "We want Greece to remain in
the eurozone, and the European Union will do everything it can
to ensure that this happens," the President of the European
Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, has said during a meeting of
the UN General Assembly on the state of the economy and global
finance in 2012.
"We will honour our promise on commitments towards Greece, bu the country's government, both current and future, must respect the conditions agreed for financial aid," he added. (ANSAmed).
