(ANSAmed) - BRUSSELS, 25 APRIL - Israeli authorities ''should cancel their decision'' on the outposts of Bruchim, Rachelim ans Sansana in the West Bank. This is today's appeal by Catherin Ashton, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, who is ''extremely concerned'' about Tel Aviv's decision to recognise as actual settlements the three Jewish outposts in the Palestinian territories. ''The European Union'', Ashton reasserts, ''has repeatedly asked Israel to put an end to all settlement activities''.

''Colonies'', the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs continues ''are illegal in international law, they hamper peace and hinder the possibility of implementing a two-state solution''. In her message, Ashton underlines that ''These measures are against the spirit of the Quartet's declaration of April 11th, 2012, which expressed concern about unilateral and provocative actions, including ongoing settlement activities''.(ANSAmed).
