Publishing: ANSA's Cerbone meets Mauritanian Ambassador

(ANSAMed) - ROME, JULY 12 - ANSA Managing Director Giuseppe Cerbone met with Mauritanian Ambassador Moctar Ould Dahi today to discuss cooperation between ANSA and Mauritanian news agency AMI. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the exchange of information and technology in order to develop the ANSAMed service, which covers the Mediterranean Basin. Cerbone and Ould Dahi agreed that there should be a focus on reinforcing bilateral economic cooperation between Italy and Mauritania, as well as between Mauritania and the Mediterranean region. Meeting participants also discussed ANSA informational support of certain economic development projects in Mauritania that involve Italian companies.

''We welcome ANSA's initiatives of cooperation with our media,'' the Ambassador said. ''We will sustain the projects of this authoritative news agency, as they represent a great opportunity to promote and consolidate cooperation between Italy and Mauritania in many sectors, including the industrial one, and to attract Italian and European investments to Mauritania.'' Also present were ANSA Marketing Director Gabriella Campi and Nabila Zayati, the ANSA project manager for Arab and Mediterranean markets. (ANSAMed).
