This is the situation to be looked into on April 25-26 at Madrid's Casa Araba during the first Job Creation for the Young in the Mediterranean Region meeting, called by the public diplomacy institution in collaboration with the Educational Fund for Employment and the Spanish International Cooperation for Development Agency (AECID).
The meeting aims to raise awareness among enterprises, institutions, public administrations and companies on the challenge of job seeking for the young in the Mediterranean area. It would like to provide answers on such issues as access to the job market for the young enjoying few chances to get a good education or professional training; the gap between the educational system and the labour market; opportunities for Spanish educational institutions and enterprises investing in the region to raise the number of qualified and available youths through training connected with jobs on offer.
