Faldo's 'Mediterranean Masterpiece' in Paphos, has announced it
will stage the Cyprus Golf Federation's annual Special
Olympics Open competition on Sunday June 10. The event, as
Famagusta Gazette reports, raises money for Special Olympics
Cyprus and is expected to attract over 100 entries, men
and women, from across the country. Organisers also anticipate
20 Special Olympians will attend the day, taking part in a golf
skills challenge at the Eléa Golf Academy. The main event, an
18-hole strokeplay competition, is open to all golfers with a
maximum handicap of 36. (ANSAmed).
